TYPICAL AND TRADITIONAL

Local, fresh and seasonal products, used to create simple and traditional dishes. Extra virgin olive, vegetables, fruit and meat from farm animals; a rich and high quality production which comes directly from our land to our table in Sirimagus. Not just a simple dinner, but an enogastronomic journey from our farm capable of enhancing the differences held together by a single central theme: that of tradition. Our cooking is one of our strong points.

The dining room

Inside the courtyard, just inside the entrance, is the dining room with 40 place settings. The large fireplace dominates the room creating a rustic atmosphere, which is warm and welcoming in winter months. The room, which was also taken from the original structure of the farm house, stretches out in an open space furnished with table and wooden hand crafted furniture. This part of the holiday farm is where the lunches and dinners are consumed but also the buffet breakfast for the guests who stay here. In the evening those who want will be offered an aperitif made with local products and accompanied by our wines.

Quality and sustainability

The holiday farm works on a booking basis, to ensure the best quality and sustainability of the business. Most of the ingredients used, are in fact home produced. The raw materials are carefully worked by hand, according to traditional recipes, which therefore requires a medium long amount of time to prepare them. To guarantee this it is necessary to organize the kitchen on the basis of bookings to avoid a needless waste of resources and to respect the principles of environmental and economiC sustainability, which our rural activity is based on.

SPECIAL EVENTS

For special events and celebrations the dining room can requested for private use, including the veranda and the adjoining green area.
Our location is ideal for celebrating weddings, christenings, anniversaries, business meetings or themed evenings.

OUR MENU

The Sirimagus holiday farm works by offering a fixed menu which varies according to the season and the availability of the ingredients. The menu consists of 7 starters, 2 first courses, 2 main courses, a vegetable side dish, dessert speciality of the house, water, wine (1/4 litre per person), coffee and liquor. Contact us to discover the menu in advance.

• Spit roasted suckling pig • Lamb stew with saffron • Lamb stew with wild fennel • Roast lamb with potatoes • Lamb with egg and lemon • Pork stew with olives and capers • Mutton stew with tomato sauce • Goat meat with slices of cheek lard seasoned with rosemary • White meat (rabbit, chicken) chasseur

The discovery of this farm was the icing on the cake of a wonderful holiday, we returned three times to taste the specialties of Lorella and discuss good wine with Gianni. Absolutely to recommend.
